Version 1.0. Last updated: 26 October 2026

On this page

1. Our aim

1.1This statement covers uestimates.com, which is run by UESTIMATES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12828848.

1.2We want everyone to be able to use our website, including people who use a screen reader, screen magnifier, voice control, keyboard only or other assistive technology.

1.3Our target is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We are designing the website so that you can use it with a keyboard only, zoom in without losing content, use it with a screen reader, read text with enough colour contrast, understand form errors without relying on colour, and pause anything that moves.

2. How accessible the website is

2.1We have not yet tested this website against WCAG 2.2 AA. When we have, we will publish the results here, including any problems we find and when we plan to fix them.

2.2Our legal documents are web pages, not PDFs, so you can read them with the same tools.

3. Tell us about a problem or ask for another format

3.1If you have difficulty using any part of the website, or you need information in a different format, such as large print or plain text, email office@uestimates.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line.

3.2Please tell us the web address of the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you use, if you know.

3.3We aim to reply the same working day.

4. If you are not happy with our response

4.1Please tell us first, using the details in section 3. We will look into your complaint and tell you the outcome.

4.2If you are still not satisfied, you can get free advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which covers England, Scotland and Wales:

4.3In Northern Ireland, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

5. Enforcement

5.1UESTIMATES LTD is a private company. The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us. We publish this statement voluntarily.

5.2As a provider of services to the public, we have a duty not to discriminate against disabled people and to make reasonable adjustments. In England, Scotland and Wales this duty comes from the Equality Act 2010. In Northern Ireland it comes from the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
